Best Painted

Best Painted is the league's award for the best-looking models, and the league votes on it. You enter with your own photos during the season, everyone votes once the finals start, and the winner keeps the trophy on their profile for good.

1. Put your models in the gallery

Open the season's Gallery and press Choose Pics to Upload. Pick one photo or several, add a caption if you want one, and press Add photo. Photos you add to one of your games with Add photos count too. The app shrinks phone pictures before they upload, so send the good one.

The season gallery. A grid of photos with captions and the painter's name, some marked Nominated, with filter chips for All, Nominated and Mine.
The Gallery. A ★ ribbon marks each entry.

2. Nominate your best three

Your own photos have a Nominate for best painted tick. Tick it on up to three of them. Those are your entries, and the gallery marks them ★ Nominated. The line above your photos keeps count, for example Best-painted entries: 2/3. Painted something better since? Untick an old entry and tick the new one. You can swap right up until the vote.

What you can enter

Gallery photos and match photos. Quest evidence and the army list shots on your loadout can't be entered, because they each have their own job. Photos explains them.

Seeing the field

The gallery's Nominated chip shows only the entries and Mine shows yours. The painter menu narrows the grid to one person.

3. Vote at the finals

Nothing gets decided during the regular rounds. When your organizer starts the finals, a Voting is open banner appears under the league's tabs, and Vote → takes you to the ballot. The ballot has one card per painter with their entries on it. You vote for a painter, not a single photo.

The awards ballot during the finals. Each painter has a card showing their nominated photos and a vote button.
The ballot opens with the finals.

4. The trophy

When your organizer closes the vote, the painter with the most votes wins. The award leaves the season's Awards page and moves into the Trophies case on the winner's profile, where it stays from league to league. The season's public yearbook keeps the roll of honour, and it leads with the nominated photos.

Why it works this way

There's no "best painted" button on each round, on purpose. A per-game nod would let a handful of people settle the award between themselves in week two. Entering as you go and voting at the end means everyone who painted all season gets judged on their best work, by the whole league. No Best Painted vote in your league? Your organizer hasn't set up the season's awards yet, so ask them. More in Awards.
