Photos
Half the point of a painting hobby is showing people the models. Photos turn up in four different places in the app, and which place a photo belongs to is decided when you upload it — not guessed afterwards.

The four kinds
The league's shared album, on the Gallery tab. Anyone in the season can look; these are the ones that can be entered for Best Painted.
Attached to one game, from its match page. Same album, but tied to the fixture — the table as it stood, mid-game, or the moment it all went wrong.
Uploaded on a quest card as proof for that quest. It stays on that card. It does not join the gallery and can't be published. See Quests.
Your "My teams" shots, up to twelve, shown only in your own list so an opponent can see what they'll be facing. See Your loadout.
A photo can't drift between these. An army-list shot will never be offered as quest evidence, and quest evidence will never appear in the season gallery.
Best Painted
You tag up to three of your own gallery photos as your entries. That is you choosing which of your models to put forward, not a vote — nothing is decided until finals, when the whole league votes for a painter from everything that was entered. On the Gallery tab, Nominated shows only those entries, Mine shows yours, and you can filter the grid by painter when more than one person has uploaded. The public yearbook leads its gallery with those nominated shots, sitting with the awards relics.
There is deliberately no per-game "best painted" button on a round. That would let a handful of people settle the award between themselves in week two instead of the league deciding it at the end. More in Awards.
A link, not a public file
Photos aren't public files sitting at a guessable address. Each one is fetched through a link that is made for the person looking and expires shortly after, so a photo can't be passed around outside the app by copying its URL.
Match photos on public pages
A match photo is included on your league's public pages unless you turn that off at upload. The Show on public standings tick starts checked; clear it and the shot stays in the league. Afterwards the control on the photo is Private. Quest evidence and army-list photos stay private and have no such switch.
If a photo says "image unavailable"
Those expiring links are also why you might, very occasionally, see an empty tile. If a page has been open long enough, its links can go stale before you scroll back to a photo.
The app notices and quietly fetches fresh links for just the photos that broke — not the whole gallery — so it normally fixes itself without you doing anything. If a tile is still empty, reloading the page will always sort it. It does not mean the photo is gone.
A note on size
Photos are shrunk in your browser before they upload, so a full-resolution phone picture doesn't cost you a long wait on shop wifi. Upload the good version; the app handles the rest.
