Auspex Fatalis is a free app for running recreational tabletop wargaming leagues. This page describes what the app collects about you, what it does with it, and who else touches it — written from what the app actually does, not from a template.

What we collect

• Your Discord identity. You sign in with Discord. That gives the app your Discord username, your avatar, and the email address on your Discord account. You can replace the avatar with a custom upload; the app then shows that instead.
• Photos you upload. Gallery and match photos, quest evidence, and army-list ("my teams") photos. Each photo is tied to the purpose you uploaded it for — quest evidence and army-list photos stay private to their league surface and are never shown publicly.
• Match results and league activity. Scores, forfeits, standings, brackets, quest claims, and award votes — the record a league runs on.
• Sportsmanship ratings. After a match you can rate your opponent. These ratings are visible only to the league's organizer. They are never shown to players — not to the person rated, and not even your own average to you. The only public outcome is the end-of-season Best Sportsman award.
• Things you write. Team Lore, photo captions, army lists, faction aliases, and similar free text. Anything one player writes and others read passes a decency screen before it saves.

What it's used for

Running your league: standings, schedules, galleries, awards, the weekly recap, and the result announcements posted to your league's Discord channel. Nothing is used for advertising, sold, or shared beyond the services below.

Who processes it

• Supabase — the database, authentication (including the Discord sign-in), and photo storage. Everything the app stores lives here.
• Netlify — hosts the app and runs its server functions (scheduled digests, public pages, Discord posting).
• Anthropic — writes the AI flavour text in weekly recaps and match commentary, where a league has turned that on. What's sent to the model is a frozen summary of the week's or match's facts (results, factions, standings movement) plus any Team Lore the players chose to write. Sportsmanship ratings are never included — they're kept out of those summaries by construction.
• Discord — leagues can connect a channel by webhook; match results, standings, and weekly digests are then posted there, visible to whoever can read that channel.
• Google Analytics — standard page-view analytics, so we can see which parts of the app get used. It sets its own cookies and receives your page views and the usual browser signals; it never receives your league data, your writing, or your photos.

Who can see what

Most of the app is behind sign-in and scoped to your league: your leaguemates see your name, avatar, faction, record, and the photos and writing you share there. A league's organizer can additionally see sportsmanship ratings. If an organizer publishes a season's public pages, that season's standings, recap, and gallery photos marked public become visible without sign-in — that is the organizer's choice, per season.

Cookies and local storage

The app stores your sign-in session so you stay logged in, and Google Analytics sets its usual cookies to count page views. No advertising cookies, and nothing is used for ad targeting.

Removing your data

You can delete your own photos and edit or clear your own writing in the app. For anything else — leaving a league's records, or removing your account entirely — ask in the Auspex Fatalis Discord and we'll sort it out.
